Privacy at Drama Binge Hub

There is nothing to sign up for at this café: no account, no newsletter box, no comment form, no loyalty stamps. We never ask who you are, and every page works the same for every visitor. A quick word on who is writing this: Drama Binge Hub is an independent guide with no ties to any production company or video service. Below is everything that gets noted down while you look around.

Our server's logbook

Each request leaves one entry in a routine web-server log: a timestamp, which page or file was fetched, the status code we replied with, the visitor IP and two-letter country code forwarded by Cloudflare, the referring page, and the user-agent text your browser announces about itself. These entries help us keep the kitchen running, notice abuse and get a rough picture of which pages people open. They are not sold, traded or combined with anything else to profile anybody.

The one-time "hello" ping

After the first genuine wheel turn, tap, click or key press on a page, your browser posts one small message to our /sip address. It holds just three facts: which path you are reading, the referring website's host name when there is one, and a stopwatch reading in milliseconds counted from when the page began loading. No cookie or ID rides along. Its only job is to separate living readers from bots.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare sits in front of our server, keeping copies of pages near readers and screening out hostile traffic. Doing so means it processes connection details such as IP addresses, as set out in Cloudflare's published policy.

Watching a course

The video itself travels from servers belonging to the title's rights owner or its licensed distributor, which therefore receive your request like any ordinary web request. On some series the page registers a service worker, a tiny background script that requests the needed section of the video file from that outside source. It keeps no information about you and vanishes once you clear stored data for this site.

Cookies, tracking and copying

This site sets no cookies and loads no advertising pixels or outside analytics. On an order slip the series code goes onto your clipboard at the instant you press the button and at no other time; the café has no interest in reading anything you copied yourself.

Stepping out to the full series

The order button transfers you to a separate company's app or website, and some of those links are affiliate links. Once you arrive there, that company's rules on personal data govern whatever happens next.
