Reborn to Rule: The Serpent God’s Bride

rebirth, serpent bloodline, and vengeance

Lyra was once honoured as the golden python goddess, but her foster sister Vera and her partner Logan killed her. She opens her eyes on her coming-of-age morning carrying every detail of that death. Logan also remembers the past life, which upsets every loyalty Lyra believed in. To gain protection, she enters the Abyss of Ten Thousand Venoms and forms a bond with Kaelen, the Primordial Ancestor of Pythons. Nine enormous eggs filled with his bloodline appear at the Egg-Laying Ceremony. Vera's hidden nature comes to light, and the two traitors escape to the demon Neroth and steal the hatchlings to plunder their power. A great battle destroys Neroth. Kaelen is badly wounded and sleeps for three years before waking again. Lyra conceives once more, and the Python Clan finally breaks its bloodline shackles.
