Pucked by My Hockey Rival

Rival captains swap punches for proximity and unexpected affection.

Owen intercepts a note from opposing captain David addressed to his rare surname and instantly assumes David is courting his sister. Their resulting fight earns them a coach-mandated joint training program instead of suspension. Shared drills and late-night strategy sessions dissolve hostility, letting curiosity replace old grudges. As proximity chips away at assumptions, an unspoken pull grows between them, but the original misunderstanding still hangs over every charged moment on and off the ice.
